Fall in New England

Fall in New England is inspirational!  Hard to stay at home when color abounds.  Eye popping color, with dramatic black and white possibilities as well. Weather is brisk and reawakens the spirit.  Rain or shine, there are beautiful images to take!  Piles of pumpkins or apples at a farm stand.  Ponds and swamps with grasses turning colors ranging from gold to purple. Turkeys being raised for the big feast day so we can give thanks for this bounty. Enjoy the season.

What is beauty?  Is it really in the eye of the beholder?   Perhaps we should look to help women of all ages see themselves in a new light, not what they see in magazines promoting unachievable perfection.  Unfortunately, beauty has been commercialized and distorted in our society. It presents a standard of comparison that can cause dissatisfaction when not achieved. Attractiveness across many cultures is equated with symmetry and balance as well as fertility, with inner beauty factored in. Physical attractiveness is only skin deep.
